I am adding to the post by Diaper Diaries. She wrote about some cool environmentally friendly bags.
I saw this idea in a recent Martha Stewart issue. Environmentally friendly and free! Just need to be able to sew in a straight line.

    That would take craftiness, a sewing machine, and patience – all of which I have little or none of unfortunately. I think I’ll stick to buying my cheapesk enviromentally friendly bags.
