Nope, The Grass is not Always Greener…

Not really.

This is the third time since January that we’ve had record warm weather followed by extreme snowfall. It seems as though the record warm weather keeps getting warmer and the snow following keeps getting deeper.

Sunday we reached a high of 77. We packed a picnic and hit the park. It was super windy which only told me one thing…a front was on the way.

Sure enough…we got 10+inches of snow today. More than Grand Rapids got today! It has definitely been a weird winter! Here is a picture of my backyard (no, its not all mine).winter.jpg This was taken a couple of hours before it stopped snowing. The weatherman said we were getting about 3 inches an hour. Check out this website, for more insight to St. Louis weather…

But the real kicker would be the picture from 24 hours later, when 50 degree temps melted the snow from all but the shadiest areas.
