Things I Love Thursday-Napa Cabbage

We had dinner at some friends house a while ago and had tacos. Instead of lettuce, they offered Napa cabbage as a condiment. This isn’t the first time I’ve had cabbage on tacos before, but never Napa cabbage.

This is my favorite taco recipe.

I also plan to make this tonight. It has a Napa cabbage salad as a side.

Well, I live in Canada, where tacos aren’t exactly indigenous, but is it at all common to put napa cabbage or any cabbage on a taco? We only use lettuce, but now I am inspired. Next time we have them, I might try serving sauerkraut with the tacos and see how that goes. I’ll let you know!

Ohh… I love that recipe, I remember you made it in GR. I have never had cabbage on a taco before, napa or any other. That other recipe looks really good too, how did it turn out?
