Things I Love Thursday-Blood Orange Martinis

I admit there are few adult beverages that I don’t love, but this one is pretty new to me and its delicious.
1oz of Blood Orange Juice ( I buy the soda from Trader Joes. I like fizz. I’ve also seen it at World Market.)
1oz of Triple Sec
1oz of vodka ( I use plain, but orange flavored would be good too!)
squeeze of lime
Shake it up with ice and pour into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with lime twist.

I am so there! But I have a question for you—do you mean real blood orange juice, like squeeze a blood orange, or is it a type of soda?

Have you tried the Italian Volcano Blood Orange Juice? It’s excellent. Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods sell it.

Oh I am so making this. I just need more triple sec (thanks for reminding me!) and the orange. And yeah, are you using a fizzy soda?
