Okay Liv, I always read your blog and never comment. Just wanted to say you’re a genius and I love all your stuff! One note on your etsy store, you need an avatar. Right now nothing shows up next to your store name, just a plain white box. Maybe one of your photographs…or a closeup of some applique work. -D

  • 2. Nicole  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:34 am

oh wow i adore the Cherry Ruffled Girls Apron!! how adorable!! keep up the amazing work!!

  • 3. Paula  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:22 am

I LOVE your funky floral girls apron!! And would love to own that Christmas apron. Great give away.

  • 4. sparklygreenknickers  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:29 am

You have some gorgeous aprons there, how about some more gender-neutral or boy-ish aprons? My son loves to help cook, so I’m sure there are plenty more boys out there who’d wear them.

I love that Christmas fabric – so so funky!

  • 5. Katelin  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:45 am
thats amazing!! I love the pattern!! i would love this apron!! please choose me!!!

  • 6. Lalli  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:06 am

I just visited your etsy shop. You have lovely stuff there. The thing I love most is having beautiful aprons for girls, which is kind of hard to find. Most of the stores sell adult sizes.
I don’t think there is really anything I can say about improvement, as all these looks so perfect, but yes, I would say the aprons with flowers and patchwork would look much more colorful of little girls than the canvas ones.

  • 7. Sylvie  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:13 am

Oh I just looooove your apron (and the other things that you sew)! It makes me want to cook!
I would love to win it! You can count on me!
    Love from France.

  • 8. Josefin  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:19 am

I hope Im in on the drawing now. πŸ™‚

  • 9. sophie  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:20 am

I can’t believe how much you have managed to sew! I have 3 kiddies too and I am seriously impressed. I really need an apron, I have such a bad habit (which my kids are now copying) of wiping my hands down my pants…ew, I know!!

    I wouldn’t change a thing, it’s all beautiful.

  • 10. Christy  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:35 am

That’s the cutest holiday apron ever! Happy holidays to you!

  • 11. Jo  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:44 am

  • 13. Crystal  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:01 am

It’ll be great if there were more photos in more angles for the aprons. I’ll love to see more close ups. Great work though!

  • 14. H.S.  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:02 am

your aprons are too cute!!! so girly! count me in πŸ™‚

  • 18. standing still  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:35 am

Okay. This totally takes me back — a friend of my mother’s (WAAAAAAAAAAY) back in the 70’s made my sister and me aprons of our very own for decorating Christmas cookies at her house. Every little girl must have her own.

Love the little zipper pouch with the matching button from the dot on your fabric. Aren’t making zipper pouches addictive?

  • 19. Tacha  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:47 am

Ooooh yes please! Such a fun apron!

  • 20. sfer  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:57 am

I love looking through your store… such cute combinations and ideas!

  • 29. Susan  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:22 pm

That Christmas apron is very charming. I have four little granddaughters who would love something like that. In your store, I love the cherry apron especially. Believe it or not, I still have my apron my mom made me when I was a kid and I treasure it.

  • 30. elizabeth of course  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:28 pm

  • 34. robin  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:37 pm

I checked out your etsy site. I really like all your color and fabric choices-exciting and fresh. Maybe a full apron would be a good choice too. I seem to need more coverage, but then maybe I am just messier than most. πŸ™‚

Thanks for doing this give away.

  • 35. mommyishome  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:37 pm

Beautiful!! I looked at your site, and it is great! As far as feedback? Some of the pictures in thumbnail version are a little difficult to see the details but not in such a way that makes it a negative because you can see things bigger when you click on them. I think you have an awesome store!

  • 36. Jennifer  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:41 pm

I’m not just choosing it because it is the first one on the list…I LOVE the girls blue and brown apron!
I may have to come back and by that for my little one.

  • 37. cygnetsmall  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:41 pm

I like your aprons, and especially the oilcloth bibs. One suggestion — some of the photos, like the Star, Flower, Sun Embellished Tote Bag, have some shadows that make it difficult to see. (Not that I am a photo expert by any means!) But the work is really lovely.

  • 38. Robin in New Jersey  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:44 pm

Your aprons are so cute! I love that fabric with the apples and pears on it.

  • 39. quiverfull11  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:49 pm

What a gorgeous apron! Perfect for one of my girls!
Thanks for considering me for your giveaway.

  • 40. Shelley  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:58 pm

I love this apron. I looked at your Etsy shop and my only suggestion would be to maybe make some longer aprons.

  • 41. sunshinekmp  |  December 3, 2008 at 1:59 pm

Your aprons are so cute! I love the details you put into them all. Thanks for the giveaway!

    thanks for this giveaway!

  • 49. debra  |  December 3, 2008 at 2:23 pm

    Love the girls cherry apron.
For your etsy site…maybe take the pictures of light fabrics against a darker background for contrast so that the fabric stands out and shows the beauty of the fabric??

  • 50. Nicole  |  December 3, 2008 at 2:24 pm

pretty little things for dirty little hands.

  • 51. Julie A  |  December 3, 2008 at 2:29 pm

Hello! Wow I love your stuff too cute. You do a good job with colors and pattern, something I always have trouble with :).

  • 56. habetrotspins  |  December 3, 2008 at 2:40 pm

I just love your work. When we find out the sex of our baby, I’ll be back for some of your darling bibs.

    Hope I win the apron!

  • 59. Karen  |  December 3, 2008 at 2:47 pm

Thats a beautiful Chritmas apron…I need a Christmas apron! Anyhow, looking at your shop on etsy….I noticed that you don’t do full aprons, that may be an idea for you?!

  • 60. summernightsmiles  |  December 3, 2008 at 2:51 pm

Checked out your Etsy shop: What a lot of lovely items =) Love the color combinations. My favourite is the Funky Floral Girls Apron.

  • 61. Julie  |  December 3, 2008 at 2:52 pm

Oh, I LOVE aprons!!! Pick me, pleeeeaaaaaseeeee.

  • 65. Bethany  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:02 pm

Love the Christmas apron. I am really liking the oilcloth bibs in your etsy store. I have 5 young children – those would be pretty handy! Cute store and thanks for the giveaway!

  • 66. Mattie  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:05 pm

Love the funky floral girls apron….that is one of my favorite fabrics.

  • 67. Kelly  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:07 pm

Your aprons are very cute – I’d buy one, if I were a little girl or had one. I wish you had more Ladies Aprons in your shop at the moment.

  • 68. Stephanie  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:10 pm

You are so very talented! I would add additional photos, but other than that your selection and designs are just wonderful. I need an apron like that! I usually cook with a dish towel thrown over my shoulder. :giggle:

  • 69. Cheryl  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:10 pm

Maybe your photos could be brighter, so we can see how adorable they are!!

  • 70. B  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:10 pm

I love your aprons. You pick great fabrics!

One of the things I like about your site is that you make them for kids too. Perhaps you could make a matching set for a mother/child so they can match when they bake together?

  • 71. sara  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:20 pm

I really like the way you combine colors / patterns. It makes me happy just looking at it.

As far as your esty….the only commnent I have is that the 1st few rows of photos on page 1 do not do justice to your work and the fabric. I have a hard time taking good digital photos. The photos taken outside (page 2) show up really well. I would retake the photos at the top of page 1.

  • 72. Stephanie  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:21 pm

What a great shop you have – I love the girly aprons! My only suggestion is to use natural lighting in your photography so we can see these cute aprons better!

  • 73. Amy @ GrowingLikeTrees  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:24 pm

Your aprons are incredible! I love the dahlia one, and I know my little girl would too πŸ™‚

  • 74. Hannah  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:28 pm

This looks just like a little Whoville apron! Please enter me!

i cannot tell you how much i love your ruffled aprons!! i make a similar version but i love how poofy yours are! lovely!

I love the items in your store – just so perfect for little girls! Your items would be my 8 year old daughter’s dream!!

  • 77. Stacey  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:29 pm

You have a beautiful shop, love your fabric selection!

  • 78. Danielle  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:33 pm

I love all of the fabrics you use! They are so fun! Great give-away! Happy Holidays!

  • 79. Jennifer Ladd  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:34 pm

Your shop is beautiful. I love the warm feel of your photos and banner. My only advice would be to put your store policies in the policies section. There have been a few times I didn’t order from someone on Etsy because they didn’t tell me in their policies when they would ship the item (I needed it right away and didn’t have time to e-mail).

Thanks for the chance to win the apron – my daughter would love it!

  • 80. Amelia  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:38 pm

wow, wow, wow. I love Give Away Day! It’s my favoritest day EVER! And now that I have a link to your store full of adorable vintagey aprons, I have a place to replace all of the aprons my grandmother gave me as they begin to wear out!

  • 81. carol  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:40 pm

OH I LOVE this apron!!! I wish I had lots of that fabric… and I love the star flower tote and apple and pears tote… excellent…

    I hope I win!

    knittingmomof3 (AT) gmail (DOT) com

  • 83. Dana  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:43 pm

I love your oil cloth bibs, they are great! The only comment I have on your shop is that the apron pictures seem a bit dark, try taking pictures in more natural light!

  • 84. Alex  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:43 pm

Cute apron. I’d say that your etsy site needs some ladies aprons. It would also be fun to have matching ladies/girls sets available!

  • 85. shaina  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:44 pm

Your aprons are so cute! I love the ruffly ones. For some reason, ruffles escape me.

  • 87. ronit  |  December 3, 2008 at 3:46 pm

your aprons look great; personally I’m not a frilly apron kind of gal, but I’m sure others love those, so variety is good.

Your aprons are great. How about some full aprons ( I always seem to get splatter on my shirt).

  • 94. Livvie  |  December 3, 2008 at 4:16 pm

I love the products in your store. My feedback is better apron pictures that highlight your great aprons. Thanks for your giveaway.

  • 95. beca  |  December 3, 2008 at 4:16 pm

I love the fabric! My little girl would love this!!

  • 96. Kelly  |  December 3, 2008 at 4:22 pm

Thanks for participating in the giveaway and the opportunity to visit your Etsy shop. I really liked the aprons I saw on your site, but liked the oil cloth bibs more. I see a lot of bibs available these days, but don’t see the oil cloth ones as much. They are very cute.
Please count me in for your giveaway!

I agree that it would be really cute to see some mother/daughter aprons! I love your fabric choices! πŸ™‚

  • 103. whistlepeaknits  |  December 3, 2008 at 4:48 pm

    This is so super cute.

  • 106. Jenny  |  December 3, 2008 at 4:55 pm

Your Etsy store looks pretty great to me. The only suggestion that I could think of is possibly putting more info in your profile. Maybe make it a little more personal. I like to have a feeling of knowing the buyer before I purchase. I love the giveaway, very cute.

  • 107. Jenny  |  December 3, 2008 at 4:58 pm

I just left a comment, but when I returned to your homepage I noticed under your favorite sites you had Young Rembrandts. I am a teacher for young rembrandt in Joliet IL.

  • 108. Antonella  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:00 pm

..well, what can I say, I love soooo much your Christmas tree apron, and I’d like soooo much to win it, especially because tomorrow will be my birthday, and this should be a pretty, pretty gift! ;o)

    Thanks for the give away!

  • 114. alison  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:20 pm

Love the apron! I’m having Christmas dinner this year for my husband’s side of the family (24 people). I would wear that apron all day!

  • 115. whitney  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:22 pm

I love all the ruffles on the aprons. And I really like the oilcloth bibs, but I hate tying bibs. Any way of dong snaps on them?

  • 116. Chris  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:25 pm

I would love this little apron for my kiddo!!!

    I Love your etsy site!!!

  • 118. Mags  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:33 pm

The pictures of the aprons are a bit yellowish.

Thank you for a chance at the giveaway and have a great holiday.

  • 119. Gina F  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:36 pm

I love your fabric choices–especially apple and pear and the giveaway apron. The ruffle aprons are wonderful too. Nice work! Happy holidays.

  • 120. sandra  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:36 pm

Love your apron! Please, count me in…

  • 121. Rebecka  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:43 pm

Oh, that’s adorable! The fabric is sooo cute! I’d love to win that!

  • 122. acai berry diet  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:43 pm

you have a wonderful little etsy shop. all the things are so cute! I’m over from Sew Mama Sew and I’d love to win too!!

  • 126. WendyLou  |  December 3, 2008 at 5:59 pm

That apron is SOOO stinkin’ cute!! Perfect for tons and tons of Christmas baking!!

  • 127. Jerri  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:04 pm

Great aprons! I think a couple of the pictures in your etsy shop could have better lighting. Funny that I should notice that. My blog is filled with crappy pictures.

  • 128. Tanya  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:11 pm

I love your items. In terms of your shop, I think the fabrics would shine more in natural light, outside. They look a little dull or yellowed, and I recognize some of those fabrics and know how vibrant and beautiful they are in real life. πŸ™‚

  • 129. Sara  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:16 pm

What a gorgeous apron! You make such beautiful things – thanks!

  • 131. Tiffany  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:23 pm

Oh my! To cute my daughter would love this apron! I love the brown and blue apron and the ruffles on them!

  • 132. Karissa  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:24 pm

LOVE your choice of fabrics! My only suggestion for your shop is to try to get better pictures of some of the aprons, but I know how hard this is with like 8 hours of daylight in the winter!

  • 133. Angela  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:36 pm

love the oil cloth bibs, my only suggestion is that you check the white balance on your camera, the pictures of the aprons have a yellow tinge, make sure your white balance is set to auto or take pictures outside for picture-perfect quality! thanks for hosting a very cool giveaway!

  • 134. Sarah S.  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:37 pm

    This is adorable!!!!

  • 135. mary grace  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:37 pm

absolutely adorable apron! πŸ™‚ i love it! all of your aprons are so original – i love all the various bold prints mixed with other smaller prints featured in your shop. i’d be more than happy to bake in any of those fine creations πŸ™‚

  • 136. seemommysew  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:42 pm

Your aprons are adorable! As far as advice, get an avatar and check the white balance on your camera. It’s making your sweet aprons look yellow. πŸ™‚

  • 137. Jodie  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:45 pm

Merry Christmas! What a fun apron! I hope I win it!

  • 138. Ellen  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:46 pm

    Love the oilcloth bibs!

  • 139. Anne  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:46 pm

Adorable apron! I love the oilcloth bibs you have in your etsy shop, they just feel so vintage-y to me!
    Thanks for the giveaway!

  • 140. Amy  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:47 pm

Aprons galore! How fun! I think every woman should be equipped with a lovely apron! Thank you!

  • 141. Allison  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:49 pm

Such a cute apron!! Thanks for the give-away πŸ™‚

  • 142. Lo  |  December 3, 2008 at 6:55 pm

Love the header with the yellow flowers – one thing you could do would be to show more of the apron in your photos (ie also show how they tie at the bag etc.)

  • 143. Jessica  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:04 pm

Wow I love everything in your shop. I would suggest making a few aprons for kids…boys and girls. Also, the lighting on a few of your pics is a little dark so the colors of your beautiful work don’t really show well. I can’t believe you sew so much with three kids…I have two and can’t sew nearly as much as you!

  • 144. Laura  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:11 pm

I love all your aprons in your shop — the fabric choices are so fun. I’d love the opportunity to win this fun xmas apron to wear while making xmas cookies! =)

  • 145. Jill  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:13 pm

I love the stuff in your etsy site. Have you thought about adding more boyish items?

  • 146. Deb  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:18 pm

Love this apron!!! Feeback on your etsy shop — where are the ladies aprons? = } I do love the pouches, and the oilcloth bibs, and the little girls aprons though!! Thanks so much for this wonderful giveaway!!!

  • 147. Baba  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:19 pm

Hey funky is fun! I love it. Thanks for the chance.

  • 148. oneinchworld  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:29 pm

Your stuff is pretty cute, but your indoor photos are really yellow. That’s probably the most important thing to fix in your shop. You can learn how to use a gray card, or set the white balance on your camera to the right kind of lighting.

  • 149. Kelli@GohnCrazy  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:29 pm

Oh how perfect to be baking cookies in! Count me in!

  • 150. Ginger  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:30 pm

I love those oilcloth bibs. very nice

  • 151. Eva Krzeminski  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:30 pm

what a great apron! i would use it for baking christmas cookies this year πŸ™‚

  • 152. Angela  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:37 pm

Your work is gorgeous! I would suggest making mother/baby sets with your aprons and bibs. Other than that I cannot think of a thing to suggest.

  • 153. Lauranie  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:46 pm

My oldest daughter would look so cute in your apron! It would go well with her new cupcake maker gift!

  • 154. Clara  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:54 pm

I adore that apron. Perfect for the xmas season.

  • 155. Christina W.  |  December 3, 2008 at 7:58 pm

I love the ruffled aprons. So cute and feminine! The appliqued pear is super cute too! I think it would be adorable to make one with an appliqued blue bird.

  • 156. Su  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:04 pm

Are you kidding me? My daughter would love that!

  • 157. alison  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:11 pm

What a gorgeous christmas apron! I think the cherry ruffled apron was my fave in your shop.

  • 158. Machelle  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:17 pm

I love the fabric choices you picked. I love that apron better than any giveaway I have seen and I went through them all.

  • 159. Jamey  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:18 pm

Would you believe I have 3 under 3 (well, used to — now they are 10, 9 &7) and then we had 4 more πŸ™‚ I would love to enter your drawing! My blog is protected, though. I would be happy to invite you, if I can get your email….

  • 160. Katie  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:20 pm

This is so cute – and I love the ruffled ones in your shop too!

  • 163. carla  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:26 pm

i loved the bibs in your shop.
i think it is a good material also for aprons, i believe my grandmother used to have oilcloth aprons πŸ™‚

  • 164. Brooke D.  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:30 pm

I love your shop it’s perfect and friendly! I love the little girls cherry ruffled Apron!

    Thanks for the contest.
    πŸ™‚ Laura

  • 166. emily e.  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:35 pm

You make such cute things! Maybe you already do this, but I see aprons for girls, but what about adding some for toddler girls. I say this b/c my mother-in-law just bought my daughter an apron (from somewhere else) and it is way too big for her at the moment. Just a thought :o)

  • 167. Rebecca Clarke  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:40 pm

This is the cutest apron. Hope it’s me

  • 168. Emly  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:45 pm

What cute stuff, I don’t know how you find the time!

  • 169. maggie  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:57 pm

Just back from a visit to your Etsy shop. I love all your aprons and love the fabric and color choices you used.I love the giveaway apron, too.

  • 170. Angel  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:58 pm

I love the blue & brown apron and the funky floral. They are sooo cute. Thanks for participating in the giveaway.

  • 171. Anita  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:58 pm

Cute aprons and bibs, great fabric choices.
    Happy holidays!

  • 172. katelin  |  December 3, 2008 at 8:59 pm

wow soooo cute! i owould love this!!

  • 173. Jennie F.  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:01 pm

Oh everything is so cute! I love those ruffled aprons. As far as advice, maybe some bibs with snaps instead of ties? Moms always love a time-saver!

  • 174. Rachel  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:12 pm

I love your aprons and bibs, very cute! Just to offer some constructive critisim, I think your photos have a slightly yellow color cast. It could be from the lighting in your house. If you took pictures outside or under a full spectrum lightbulb the color cast should go away. Or it could just be my monitor :).

  • 175. Carolyn  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:13 pm

How cute and timely. Hope I win!

  • 176. giveitawhirl  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:16 pm

love all the aprons, especially the on with the stripes and tree! have you thought about making pinafores? Great work!

  • 177. Sarah Stride  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:21 pm

I just love your aprons. I think the lemon one is my absolute favorite, but the tree one is a close second. The ruffles are too cute!!

  • 178. sarah  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:26 pm

your shop looks great! I especially love the girl’s apron with the appliqued tree on it… Love this Christmas apron too!!

  • 179. Alison  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:39 pm

    Perfect for Christmas day!!!

  • 180. Kirsten  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:39 pm

Visited your store and my first impression was that your photos need better lighting. Great stuff though. You are very talented.

  • 181. Stacy  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:43 pm

I think that you store is good just as it is. The color of the banner is bright and all of the aprons are so cute!

  • 182. Marissa  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:44 pm

very cute, love the bibs on your site too.

  • 183. elsiemarley  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:45 pm

some of your pictures are a little yellow, but a little natural light would fix that. Your aprons are beautiful!

  • 184. Rhyah  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:46 pm

Wow, I love this apron! It would be so perfect for making Christmas cookies with my daughter this year! I love you shop as well! I only with that your pictures were a bit brighter so everyone can see every gorgeous detail of your creations!

  • 185. leslie  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:48 pm

I love all the things in your shop, I would say that the pictures of the aprons could be a bit brighter, but they are great things in there and otherwise very wonderful.

  • 186. Holly  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:52 pm

I really love the fussy cut detail of the Dahlia Apron. Nice work.

  • 187. Ali  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:53 pm

I love the cherry ruffled apron on your shop site. I like that your prices are reasonable too πŸ™‚

  • 188. Linda  |  December 3, 2008 at 9:57 pm

Lots of lovely aprons and bibs. Still, I would find a way to spill stuff on myself.

  • 189. Dana Willard  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:05 pm

too cute! I love the fabric and style.
    Thanks for doing a giveaway!

  • 190. Fern  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:07 pm

I love the girly apron with the floral tree, I also like that you put the size and length of the aprons, as a particularly tall person I find it very frustrating if I can’t gauge how long the apron will be on me.

The only advice I could offer was maybe to take your photos outside or in natural light to improve the white balance and saturate the colours a little more πŸ™‚

  • 191. Melissa  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:10 pm

I love your aprons and the bibs! Great stuff! Enter me please!

  • 192. arah  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:10 pm

    this apron is adorable.

    How very cute!!!

  • 196. Natalie Edwards  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:19 pm

I really love your stuff!!! Aprons are so cute and fun. I really need more of them.

  • 197. Nicole  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:19 pm

I love your retro aprons, and your oilcloth bibs. I used oilcloth bibs until my children were late toddlers. Have a good Holiday.

  • 198. Beehive  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:30 pm

I think your tree aprons and circle zippered pouch are just the hippest. They are modern and retro in one package. Thanks for your fun give away.

  • 199. LizC  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:30 pm

    Love the apron!
The only thing I’d suggest is maybe more flash in your photos? I know how hard it is to get decent pics of crafts…especially at this time of year!

  • 200. Lindsey  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:31 pm

everything is very cute. I would brighten up the photos, also.

  • 201. Jen  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:36 pm

i love the bibs! OH and the blue & brown apron!

  • 202. Linda  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:43 pm

    Love the bibs!!

  • 203. Jessica  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:56 pm

Lovely linens. You’ve got me with all of the ruffles. You can’t go wrong with those πŸ™‚ One friendly suggestion for the girl’s aprons: adding side pockets could up the practicality quotient. I know my little girl loves to just stand with her hands in them…although, sometimes she’s just fondling a dirty rock or caterpillar in her palm and the pockets aid in hiding them from sight. I can never really tell. Who says “diamonds are a girl’s…”? Why…pockets are a girl’s best friend!

Lovely Christmas apron up for the draw btw! Best to all.

  • 204. Angie  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:59 pm

My favorite items in your etsy store are the aprons– but you need some Mom size one’s. Please enter me to win the apron you are giving away—I love that Christmas fabric–perfect for baking cookies. Angie

  • 205. Megan  |  December 3, 2008 at 10:59 pm

I usually have constructive criticism for shops, but none for yours. It’s all too cute. I love the first item, the brown & blue apron!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  • 206. Jenny  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:02 pm

The ruffled aprons are my favorite. I’ve failed miserably at trying them myself! You might try taking your pix outside – natural light could really bring out the colors…Thanks for the giveaway!

  • 207. Eema-le  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:04 pm

I love this apron. The fabric colors are great, and I know exactly who I’m going to give it to.

  • 208. Louisa  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:07 pm

What a sweet apron! I especially like the circle zippered pouch in your shop.

  • 209. Rachel  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:10 pm

I really like your stuff. The only comment I would have is that maybe you should play around a bit with the photographs. Some of them are shadowy and have other items in the photo.

  • 210. Morgan  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:16 pm

i love the funky paisley pouch! i love paisley. i would love to wear this apron during the holidays!

  • 211. brooke  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:21 pm

What is not to love. I am so glad I found your shop. I LOVE EVERYTHING!

  • 212. liz  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:29 pm

  • 213. erika~ inspired mama musings  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:30 pm

  • 214. ingrid  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:32 pm

This is a really cute apron! I was thinking of the perfect recipent for a Christmas!

  • 215. Sarah  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:34 pm

Your shop is super-cute. I like all the applique stuff you’re doing, and my only suggestion is to take some pictures that show the aprons off to their full potential. Maybe a dressmaker dummy to get a sense of length? Or your pretty self! Don’t be shy!

  • 216. momtastic stitcher  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:43 pm

Hmm loved the etsy and the blog creations..perhaps pictures taken outdoors or in a more festive location? I dunno I am not an expert so take whatever I say with a grain of salt….

  • 217. oona b  |  December 3, 2008 at 11:45 pm

I think the Cherry Ruffled Apron is to die for–so lovely with all the ruffly goodness. I would love to see some more pouches, you have beautiful fabrics!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

Great shop… the only constructive criticism I have is that the photos seem a little yellow. But it might just be my monitor.

  • 219. melanie  |  December 4, 2008 at 12:07 am

Love your work, especially the girls apron with the tree.

  • 220. anna w  |  December 4, 2008 at 12:14 am

Well, as someone who has only ever sold 3 items on my etsy shop (you can find it on my blog if you’re interested), I’m not sure I’m qualified to give you advice. Especially since all 3 items were bought by my mom. Which is awesome, but I don’t think really counts, you know? I think your idea of making people give you feedback is awesome, though. Kinda’ makes me wish I had thought of doing that, too! My, I’m chatty today!
My feedback is that maybe you could work on your photographs – making the background plainer and using natural lighting (it takes away the yellow hue). I really, really love your shop, though. See, I’m favoriting it!

  • 221. anna w  |  December 4, 2008 at 12:17 am

Oh, I think I might have some other ideas – if you’re interested, just jot me an email. I imagine all the other commentors have everything covered though :u)

  • 222. Shelley  |  December 4, 2008 at 12:25 am

love the apron! you could maybe do some more boyish aprons as my son loves to help me in the kitchen but won’t wear anything girly.

  • 223. Julie  |  December 4, 2008 at 12:39 am

Love the Funky Girls apron! My girls love their aprons and proudly donned them for tie one on day πŸ™‚

Thanks for participating in giveaway day!

  • 233. Jess  |  December 4, 2008 at 1:39 am

Hi from a fellow mum with lots of little ones! I had 4 under 3 1/2 and i am about to have my 5th. (my others are 5,4,3 and 2 now!)
I agree, crazy at times, but i wouldn’t change a thing! I love your fabric choices! So funky!

  • 234. Apryl Jensen  |  December 4, 2008 at 1:44 am

Great Giveaway! Nice to meet you! You can see my giveaway here:

  • 235. Rachel  |  December 4, 2008 at 1:44 am

    Ohh, soo pretty!

  • 236. tina  |  December 4, 2008 at 1:46 am

aww, i love all your aprons! they are all so cute!

i thought of one thing you could improve… try taking photos of the aprons under natural light, like you do with the bibs. You use such pretty fabrics but it’s too bad that they are all showing up a little yellowish under those lights.

  • 237. Sharon  |  December 4, 2008 at 1:46 am

i love being in the kitchen and how much more fun it would be in one of your fun aprons. great work.
thanks for offering something so cute for the giveaway!

  • 238. Alexis  |  December 4, 2008 at 1:49 am

I definitely like the darker aprons best! πŸ™‚

  • 239. Leigh  |  December 4, 2008 at 1:50 am

absolutely adorable! I love your shop and the stuff in it! Do you make any full aprons?

  • 240. Genevieve  |  December 4, 2008 at 1:52 am

I love all the cheerful fabrics you use for your aprons! You might consider making/selling some full aprons, too; while I really like your designs, anything less than a full apron just isn’t enough coverage for me! But maybe I’m an unusually messy cook…

  • 241. Katie  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:00 am

  • 243. Patti  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:07 am

I have nothing constructive to offer except that your stuff is wonderful! I love how girly and fun the aprons are and the bibs are so stylish.

  • 244. Ashley Ann  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:16 am

Your aprons are adorable. Consider your shop hearted. πŸ˜€

  • 245. Michelle S  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:16 am

Your aprons are cute because I love your fabric choices. More so, I like those pouches you make.

  • 246. Jen  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:19 am

I love your aprons! I would love to wear one!!

Your etsy shop is great, but I think some better lighting for your photos would show off your stuff even better.

  • 247. Megan  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:22 am

I love the apple and pear apron and the oilcloth bibs. Great color combos and construction. I’d love to enter the giveaway for the Christmas apron. It is too cute!

  • 249. Amy Hunter  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:30 am

Such a cute apron! I would love it or my daughter would love it. Your other aprons and bibs are so cute!

  • 250. Shannon  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:32 am

The recent apron photos are a little yellow, but I know how hard it is to get proper lighting on those photos. Especially when you have a helper with a limited attention span. I LOVE the ruffle cherry apron, but everything is so cute.

  • 251. Iluvbnamom  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:34 am

Your aprons are lovely and I think the bibs are great! I don’t know much about Etsy shops, so from what I can see, it looks good. Please enter me in your drawing!

  • 255. Michele C  |  December 4, 2008 at 2:57 am

The giveaway apron is so darling! From your store, aside from the aprons, the zippered bags are great. — Michele

  • 256. allison  |  December 4, 2008 at 3:00 am

I thought your etsy site was really great! It was bright and inviting and easy to navigate. I really like your little pouches…I’m always buying new make-up cases! Great work!

I love your bibs. I wish there were some boy ones as the only one of my children that uses a bib is a boy. Maybe I could get one for my niece.

  • 266. Ginny  |  December 4, 2008 at 3:45 am

What a cute apron. I was going to tell you my favorite item, but I loved to many of them. There were at least 3 of the aprons that I just adored. They were all so different, you have great variety & fun colors!

  • 267. Ceri  |  December 4, 2008 at 3:53 am

O my goodness, your aprons are adorable! The one think I think could be improved upon is the lighting of the pictures, so they could show off your amazing work!

  • 268. Felecia  |  December 4, 2008 at 3:57 am

Love your shop! Your choice of fabrics is fantastic…so bright and cheery. Why are aprons so addicting?! One is never enough. πŸ™‚ Merry Christmas!

    So, so cute!

  • 273. kelly  |  December 4, 2008 at 4:16 am

love all of the products in your store! The pics have a yellow tint though that makes it difficult to see the true colors of the fabric. It gives it kind of a vintage feel though, maybe that’s what you were going for? I am certainly no expert though….

  • 274. annalea  |  December 4, 2008 at 4:25 am

maybe i am in a fruity mood but i love the cherry apron and the oilcloth fruit bib!

  • 275. Kendall  |  December 4, 2008 at 4:30 am

Your shop is darling! I especially love your aprons

  • 276. Marcela  |  December 4, 2008 at 4:37 am

well? I don’t think I have any suggestions for your store. It looks lovely! and… well, I would take one of each they are so beautiful! How creative you are.

Please count me in for your drawing. The apron is beautiful! thanks for sharing.

  • 277. Bonnie  |  December 4, 2008 at 4:52 am

I love all the cute little aprons and the circle zipper pouch.

  • 278. nonlineargirl  |  December 4, 2008 at 4:55 am

    That is adorable.

  • 279. Anita  |  December 4, 2008 at 4:56 am

I think the only thing that could be improved on would be to offer a more full coverage apron. I think yours are beautiful, but I need to protect my shirts. πŸ™‚ I’ve been on the lookout for a full coverage apron, I fear I am going to have to try and make one myself *gulp* (I’m not terribly crafty)

  • 280. Carol  |  December 4, 2008 at 4:56 am

I am having so much fun checking out all of you talented people!

  • 281. Jen Borley  |  December 4, 2008 at 5:02 am

OMG! I HAVE the funky paisley fabric in my stash too! I love that. Your Etsy store is awesome! Great work. Now pick me for this cute apron:) Thank you:)

  • 282. Melissa  |  December 4, 2008 at 5:04 am

I love the pouches as well as the aprons. I think a larger view of some of the aprons would be nice. I like to see the apron from a full body view. This really makes a difference in deciding to buy an apron for me.

  • 283. Camille  |  December 4, 2008 at 5:08 am

Great store. I love your style and it seems high quality. Thanks for sharing.

  • 284. Beagoodmom  |  December 4, 2008 at 5:12 am

  • 286. courtneyb  |  December 4, 2008 at 5:26 am

How perfect for my daughter for our Xmas cookie baking marathon.

  • 287. Ethan  |  December 4, 2008 at 5:45 am

I love all of the products, but you should CONSIDER (just think about it….) making things for boys as well. Then I’d be a total solution πŸ˜€

    I’d love the apron too!

  • 288. nanann  |  December 4, 2008 at 5:53 am

How cute! I’d love to win!

My only comment is to try and take all the pictures outside b/c your color seems more true-to-life in those pictures. Although I *think* I can tell the colors of the indoor shots, it makes me slightly hesitant since there is a yellowish cast to them.

  • 289. Emmi  |  December 4, 2008 at 5:55 am

This would be absolutely lovely to win and I hope I do because I think would flip!

Thanks so much for the chance too!

  • 290. Annette Barton  |  December 4, 2008 at 6:14 am

    I love it..count me in…

  • 291. SarahB  |  December 4, 2008 at 6:22 am

That little apron is so cute! My girls would love to wear it! Love the variety of items you offer–all the different styles let everyone find just they type they like best! As others have said, a clear photo under natural light with no shadows on the product would show off your handiwork even better, and a few extra views (closeup, back view) would be great too.

  • 292. Kimberly  |  December 4, 2008 at 8:00 am

I love the fabric on the apron, very pretty!
Your store as a lot of nice items. Very well made too! If I were to give one constructive comment, it’s that your photography could be improved a bit. Try to avoid shadows across your items, and a few seem to have a yellowish tint. Most of the pictures for the bibs look fabulous though. So whatever you were doing there, I’d repeat it!
    Thanks for joining give-away day!

  • 293. Keilah Smith  |  December 4, 2008 at 8:29 am

I love your shop! What a great idea with the bibs, so cute. Great job.
