One of Those Days

Nathan and Oliver have been sick  at some time over the last week. I decided I would call the doctor this morning to have Nathan seen after he had spiked a high temp last night, of course this means he can’t go school.

This morning Piper Ann woke up with the sneezes and a runny nose. Great.

When we got to the doctors office, I just had them all checked out.  Nathan, although looking pathetic, was actually the healthiest one! Oliver ended up with an ear infection and PA had spiked a temp of 102.3 and tested positive for the flu.  There is nothing we can do for that. I guess I’ll have another kid home from school tomorrow and she only goes twice a week!

Pray that this goes away soon! I can’t take anymore whiny children.

Oh, funny story from the doctors office…She asked Nathan to tell her his symptoms. He said, ” I have a cough I can’t control, and I can’t control the whining either.”

Do you think I’ve been complaining about the whining a bit?

I seriously laughed out loud at Nathan’s comment to the doctor! Hilarious!

I’m sorry to hear about all the sickness, though…I thought you’d maybe turned a corner this weekend. Gah. I’ll be praying this goes quickly, and that the antibiotics will just sweep away the whining, too. If it works, I’m going to get some for my kids.

Oh man. Sounds like a week in my house! Open the windows–the wind will wash away the germs and drown out some of the whining.

That is too funny. “Lily” came down with the temp today too. She hates missing school. But I love it when they are a little cuddly. Although not 3 at one time. That stinks.
