Hobby Hump Day-Tutorials
Here is a list of some tutorials I have bookmarked.
Some of them I’ve tried, most I haven’t.
Desk Calendar-Lark and Lola
Paint Chip Cards-Folding Trees
Dollhouse Potholder-Freda’s Hive
Wristlet-Whip Up
Zig zag quilt-A quilt is nice
Framed Monogram-A Feathered Nest
(this one I have tried and it turned out pretty cute!)
Play House-Restyled Home
(this isn’t a tutorial, but its nice to dream, right?)
Skirt-Sew Mad
(this one I would like to do before I leave for Mexico next Wed…doubtful)
Now its your turn…Make a list of your favorite tutes and link it up here.
Cascarones
Hope you all had a great Easter!
We ate our way through the day!
Ricardo’s cousin sent us 4 dozen cascarones for the kids. Aren’t they beautiful?
Here’s a little bit of the confetti on the back deck from one of the dozens. We took the other 3 dozen to a friends house!
Camping
We took the kids camping for the first time with some friends of ours last weekend in Southern Illinois.
Big surprise, Piper Ann is picking her nose!
The kids loved this waterfall.
4 star accommodations! I was a little nervous about the whole “no front, or door” thing. A few glasses of wine eases the nerves.
Swimming in the waterfall when its 60 degrees.
Hiking…
Cool bridge…
Roasting marshmallows…
Me in one of my hottest moments. Don’t you live the miners light on my head? They are actually very useful.
Hobby Hump Day- Dollhouse
I’ve been wanting to try out this tutorial for a while now.
For my cousins daughter’s birthday I thought I’d try it out.
I think it turned out pretty well. I love the interior curtain!
The Gardens
Last week we made our first visit to the Missouri Botanical Gardens this year.
All the Spring bulbs were beautiful.
