Passport Travel Document Holder
My mother-in-law is taking our family along with Ricardo’s sisters’ family to Cancun in a couple of weeks. I don’t know about them, but our side of the family is so excited!
Of course we all needed passports to go into Mexico. I came up with this idea to hold all of our passports along with the travel documents and a couple of pens for filling out immigration papers.
I did a little embroidery on the front to make it not so plain.
The left side has all the slots for the passports. The right side has a slot for the papers, pens and even two pockets to put a credit card or driver’s license in.
Now I have them all in one safe place and won’t have to fumble around my carry on when it comes time to present either the passports or the other documents.
I might try to work on a tutorial for these. I didn’t really measure anything, that’s why the pockets are a little wonky.
Letter…
Dear company that makes little boys’ underwear,
Could you maybe put characters all over the underwear instead of just on the back? That way my 3 year old won’t insist on wearing them backwards, so he can see the design.
It can’t be comfortable to wear them that way!
Thanks,
Me
Badge of Honor
A badge of honor for motherhood and childhood is a trip to the ER for stitches.
Nathan was at the pool last week with a friend. He’s gotten so brave at the pool these last weeks. He was doing some “twirl” jumps into the deep end, when he caught his chin on the side.
He split the darn thing wide open.
Showing off his Slurpee cup.
I left the bandaid on for the pictures. I didn’t want to gross anyone out.
I’m pretty squeamish when it comes to that stuff. I had to be brave for him while they were stitching him up. I held his hands, but he didn’t know I wasn’t watching!
