Hobby Humpday-Baked Good Birthday
The kids are invited to a pool party on Thursday for a little girl in Piper Ann’s class.
I made this apron for her with a felt cupcake on it.
I love the sprinkles.
It will keep her clean while serving these. If you scroll down to the end of that post, the carrots are mine!
Hobby Humpday- New-Old Medicine Cabinet
I got this medicine cabinet from Goodwill for $9. I decided that it would be really cool decoupaged in some great paper.
My biggest challenge was creating a template for the doors.
I took lipstick and drew around the edges of the doors.
I then put it on a piece of paper and rubbed it along the edges.
The lipstick was transferred to the paper. Then I just cut it out!
Here’s the finished product.
Now I just have to redecorate my whole bathroom around the new cabinet. I’ll keep you updated on that!
Hobby Hump Day
I want to wish you all a very happy Hump Day.
I have a very top secret project that has been consuming all of my time. I wanted to show a little teaser picture, but I never got around to it.
Anyway, if you’d like to share, link up here…
Hobby Hump Day
I’ve done some decoupaging before.
On a recent visit to Artmart here in St. Louis, I came across some wonderful papers and came up with two new decoupaging projects.
The first one is this table I had in my living room.
I’ve actually always hated this table, because its so non descript. However, its just always appeared in some room, because of its usefulness.
Before…
After…
I saw this orange paper online and was so excited when I found it at Artmart.
After I decoupaged it I sprayed it with some satin polyurethane to give it a good seal.

Hobby Hump Day- Dollhouse
I’ve been wanting to try out this tutorial for a while now.
For my cousins daughter’s birthday I thought I’d try it out.
I think it turned out pretty well. I love the interior curtain!
Hobby Hump Day/WFMW-Doggie Backsplash
We have a dog with jowls which means he splatters water everywhere when he drinks. To save my walls I created a “doggie backsplash.”
I took a ready made canvas from another project gone awry and stapled oilcloth around it. Its completely wipeable and prevents sludge from building up on the walls.

Hobby Humpday & Giveaway
I had previously done a Works for Me Wednesday post about some silly ribbon I tied around Piper Ann’s doorknob to hold her hairclips.
I was definitely not satisfied with the way that looked, so I came up with this instead.
There are ribbons that hold the clips and a loop at the end to hold headbands or ponytail holders.
I made a couple of extras in different colors for my etsy store.
I also made this one to giveaway to one of my lucky readers…
Please leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite thing about spring is. I will draw a winner on Friday at 1 pm.
Also if you want to play along, leave me a comment with a link to your post.
